Guatemala charter captains specialize in light tackle billfishing so many of our world records are on light tackle or on-the-fly.   But that does not prevent Mad Marlin clients from landing a trophy sailfish or marlin on the fishing tackle they prefer.

The choice of fishing gear is always the angler's. Clients typically use our top-of-line professional tackle from Avet, Penn, and Shimano but are always welcome to bring their own fishing rods, reels, teasers or flies.
